Lumens tell you how bright a light bulb is – the more lumens a light has, the brighter it shines. 

Choosing the right brightness means finding a balance between being practical and making sure it’s comfortable to be around. 

For example, if a light is too bright—like over 100 lumens—it might be too harsh when you walk past it at night. 

On the flip side, if it’s too dim, say under 10 lumens, it might not be enough to see where you’re going, which could be a safety issue.

For most homes, solar fence lights that range from 10 to 100 lumens are usually just right. 

They give off enough light to see clearly but won’t blind you or ruin the cozy vibe of your outdoor space. 

I prefer lights with a brightness between 25 to 75 lumens. 

This range provides enough light to safely navigate outdoor areas without being overpowering.
